It uses OpenGL to draw the 3d graphics, and any web-camera to capture your movement. It distorts the movements it captures, twisting them to your desire! By combining OpenGL and windows camera technology it gives you a really fun experience, and limitless possibilities.

Ectosaver uses the latest in water and web-camera technology, to cause ripples all over your screen. Ectosaver has tons of customizations and different types of effects to try and impress all your friends with.

Ectosaver doesn't require a web-camera to experience the cool effect. In Ectosaver you have close to 20 unique sprite animations that cause your screen to ripple. Or if you would like to try to design your own, you can...using our custom click map editor (draw little men, or smiley faces for the path :).

Select from over 15 different screensaver presets, or create and save your own. It is even possible to load up other peoples settings, and try the effect they created! You can choose your desktop to be distorted, a custom texture, your web-camera, or have it on a shiny water color. Every mode is fully customizable, and can achieve new and unique effects each time.

OpenGL is used for the graphics, so we recommend having a 3d card, but it is not required (but it will run slowly). Ectosaver runs on every kind of video card available (including voodoo's).
