The Digital River Commerce System provides a unique business model that channels inquires from millions of Internet consumers from their points of entry at the sites of software publishers and retailers through a seamless interface to the Digital River Commerce Network Server. Once in the Digital River Commerce Network Server, consumers can search for software or other types of products, shop and purchase on a secure basis. Digital River facilitates a secure credit transaction. Digital products are then electronically delivered to the buyer's computer or shipped physically dependent upon buyer preference and file size. Digital River also coordinates shipment of non-software products through various carriers and fulfillment firms.
