DIGITAL RIVER TO HOST EIDOS INTERACTIVE'S ONLINE STORE
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., February 22, 1999 -- Digital River (Nasdaq:
DRIV), the world leader in electronic software delivery (ESD), today announced
that they will be hosting and selling software through the Eidos Interactive
Web site (Nasdaq: EIDSY), a top-five publisher of interactive entertainment
for the PC and Sony Playstation® platforms. Digital River will also
handle the electronic distribution of free online product demos of new
and future products, providing customers with the ability to preview games
prior to making a purchase. Eidos is one of the first clients to take
advantage of free downloads offered by Digital River.
Under the agreement, Digital River will manage Eidos' online store, including
the physical fulfillment of its well-known gaming products including Tomb
Raider III™, Final Fantasy VII™ and Gangsters™.

we will strengthen our leadership position in the gaming industry," said

products and merchandise such as hats, t-shirts and game accessories."
In addition to streamlining the back-end sales processes of the Eidos
online store, Digital River will make it easier for consumers to purchase
products online by reducing the number of steps necessary to complete
an online sales transaction. The partnership with Digital River will enable
Eidos to increase the overall efficiency of its online sales and distribution
infrastructure.
