From the CEO: A Letter to Our Clients About Our Commitment to Global Payments

To Digital River Clients, Partners, and Friends,

I want to follow up to the letter we sent in July about the planned sale of our Digital River World Payments (DRWP) business. As expected, the acquisition of DRWP by Worldline, a European leader in payments, is officially complete.

As your accountable ecommerce partner, I’d like to reaffirm Digital River’s commitment to ecommerce payments. Our global payments services remain core to our value proposition and serve as an integrated part of our Global Commerce and MyCommerce solutions. Moving forward:

  • DRWP will continue to be a key player in our payments network even now that the sale is final.
  • Digital River will continue to maintain a dedicated payments team.
  • Our payments-related intellectual property is and will remain a core part of our commerce stack.
  • We intend to make significant investments in our payments gateway and expand our payments functionality in support of our ecommerce solutions.
