California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) of 2018 is the most comprehensive privacy law in the United States. Under the CCPA, California residents have the right to opt out of having data sold to third parties, the right to request disclosure of data already collected, and the right to request deletion of data collected.

Digital River went through a comprehensive analysis to document data flows and third-party transfers of data to ensure our processes are compliant. We do not receive monetary or other valuable consideration for exchanges of data and do not sell personal information. Our clients must make a determination for their own businesses related to personal information that the client may transfer or sell to other vendors or third-parties. Digital River has developed an external-facing privacy policy for California residents and have the processes in place to handle a customer’s right to disclosure and deletion of data.
