As the World Cup nears its start this week, all eyes are on the host location – Brazil, the only country to win the World Cup a record breaking five times. More than three quarters of the population use the Internet and 36% of their online time is spent on social media. Brazil is the largest e-commerce market in Latin America. In 2013, the country generated online retail sales of $15 billion, which is three times more than Mexico and Argentina combined.
