MINNEAPOLIS – Jan. 19, 2016 – Digital River, Inc., a leading global provider of Commerce-as-a-Service solutions, announced it has recently hired Rob Hines as its senior vice president, global sales and field marketing. Concurrently, Digital River’s Stewart Sagastume, senior vice president, global account management, and David Woolenberg, senior vice president, global account management, have been given additional responsibilities to drive global client expansion, and client success and satisfaction.

At Digital River, Hines will be responsible for generating new enterprise ecommerce sales across the company’s software, games and branded manufacturing verticals. He will also lead the rapid expansion of Digital River’s growing installed base of branded manufacturing clients on a global basis. To his new role, Hines brings more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry, including a number of executive roles marketing and selling SaaS-based business applications, enterprise security and data center solutions. During his career, Hines served as regional vice president at Salesforce.com. He also has held sales leadership and management positions at Symantec, Amdocs and Sun Microsystems.
Sagastume and Woolenberg have taken on expanded responsibilities for global account management at Digital River. They will lead the charge in deepening the company’s relationships with existing clients, helping them build and grow profitable online businesses.
Sagastume joined Digital River in 2007. He brings more than 25 years of experience in professional services, operations, strategy consulting and large-scale IT implementations to support enterprise client growth, and more recently the company’s MarketForce digital marketing agency and small to midsized ecommerce business.
Woolenberg has been with Digital River since 2003. With more than 20 years of strategic sales experience, Woolenberg has helped the company accelerate its growth across the software publishing industry, winning and growing some of its largest customer accounts. Today, he is in charge of overseeing and expanding the company’s software and games vertical on a global basis, as well as leading Digital River sales and account management teams in EMEA and APAC.
