Appoints Joydeep Haldar as Senior Vice President of Global Professional Services

MINNEAPOLIS – April 30, 2014Digital River, Inc., a leading global provider of Commerce-as-a-Service solutions, announced it has enhanced its global professional services, adding a deeper level of strategic consulting for complex custom ecommerce implementations as well as integrations with third-party partner solutions. Today, Digital River’s professional services team provides strategy, business and technical support for merchants who want to expand their ecommerce businesses globally, increase revenue and enhance their online shopper experience. Digital River’s professional services support some of the world’s most notable software, consumer electronics, retail and travel and entertainment brands.

Digital River’s global team of professional services experts function as strategic advisors to merchants, offering solutions and best practices for expanding online businesses not only across geographies, but also multiple channels, including direct, retail and reseller. The professional services organization also recommends and oversees integrations with third-party partners from Digital River’s network of strategic alliances. As part of these expansion efforts, Digital River has appointed Joydeep Haldar as its senior vice president of global professional services. In this role, he will oversee global client implementation, custom development, solution architecture and production support.

Joydeep joins Digital River from Wipro Technologies where he served as the general manager and head of the retail business unit in the Americas. There he was responsible for their P&L, overseeing client relationships and delivery of complex web-based technology initiatives. Prior to Wipro, Joydeep served as principal and senior engagement manager at Infosys.
