Digital River Names Therman Wheeler New VP of Global Product for Digital River World Payments
MINNEAPOLIS — Sept. 7, 2011 — Digital River, Inc. Wheeler brings 15 years of experience in e-commerce, global acquiring and payment verticals to the position, where he has responsibility for driving product strategy, planning and execution across the Digital River® World Paymentsâ„¢ product portfolio.

Wheeler joins Digital River after seven years at Microsoft, where he most recently focused on global product and payments strategy. He previously served as vice president of strategic development for Citi Merchant Services business with responsibility for developing their global acquiring platform. Therman’s experience also includes development of new technologies at American Express and W.L. Gore & Associates.
