Meet the Team
Emily Burton
Senior Vice President, Transformation
Emily Burton brings a powerful, holistic perspective to ecommerce having delivered solutions from back to front for clients. Emily’s career spans 20 years of consumer and client facing roles encompassing everything from technical operations and quality assurance to both program and implementation management. Emily has helped some of the world’s top brands, from mid-market to enterprise, develop, implement and deliver high-quality ecommerce consumer experiences at scale.
As the Senior Vice President, Transformation at Digital River, Emily solves the organization’s toughest problems across all of the disciplines and makes sure that the team is focused on delivering exceptional results for customers with high quality and ahead of schedule.
Keith Bush
President
Keith Bush is Digital River’s President, overseeing all aspects of the business including finance, operations, and customer-focus. He works closely with other executive leadership team members as Digital River continues to execute on its strategic pivot and accelerate its growth trajectory. Keith brings an extensive background leading finance teams to enable growth at some of the nation’s most iconic brands. Prior to this role Keith served as Digital River’s CFO.
Prior to Digital River, Keith served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President at Deluxe Corporation, where he led several hundred team members across finance, accounting, treasury, tax, investor relations, and other critical functions. Before Deluxe, Keith spent much of his career in the airline industry, where he played a critical role integrating the merger of American Airlines and US Airways after spending 14 years at Northwest Airlines.
Kelly Danter
Vice President Sales and Customer Success
Kelly Danter has built her career on finding creative solutions to help enterprise businesses market and grow revenue. Starting at Digital River in 2009, Kelly took on the responsibility for managing some of Digital River’s largest enterprise customers. She has continued to expand her scope and impact across the organization, being named Vice President of Customer Success in 2023. Kelly is responsible for overseeing all existing client relationships globally and partnering with clients to build fast-paced, global ecommerce businesses.
Kelly brings more than 15 years of experience focusing on driving global online commerce across B2B and B2C channels. Prior to joining Digital River, she served in revenue-driving and marketing management roles at Wells Fargo, Securian Financial Services and FICO.
Ryan Douglas
Chief Operating Officer
As Digital River’s chief operating officer, Ryan Douglas leads the company’s engineering, operations and information technology (IT) organizations. Functional areas include customer, technical and business operations, information security, data and cloud engineering, and corporate systems teams. Ryan is responsible for transforming Digital River’s operational support for customers and partners, maintaining service excellence, and advancing the company’s information technology strategy.
Ryan joined Digital River in 2005 and has held numerous leadership positions in software engineering, information technology, and operations. Prior to Digital River, he served at several technical service startup companies focused in the legal discovery, content management, and content delivery space. In all, Ryan has over 25 years of experience in technology and operational leadership.
Brittany Eichten
Chief Financial Officer
Britt is Digital River’s Chief Financial Officer, overseeing accounting, finance, treasury, and tax. She started with Digital River in 2017, has held multiple roles in the organization and has worked on numerous strategic projects. She works closely with other Executive Leadership Team members as Digital River continues to execute on its strategic pivot and accelerate its growth trajectory.
Britt brings experience in banking, credit, financial services and e-commerce. Prior to Digital River, Britt worked at a Bluestem Brands Inc., a retail e-commerce company, where she worked with both the CIO and the Head of Credit and Credit Operations.
Becky Garroch
Senior Vice President, People and Places
Becky Garroch started at Digital River in 2014 in the UK, overseeing our international Human Resources team. Becky took on a global role and moved to the US in 2017. She directs all activities related to building the global workforce and overseeing places management that drives Digital River’s success. This includes developing talent management and organizational enablement strategies that support the company’s growth initiatives, attracting and retaining some of the top experts in the ecommerce industry, and creating places for our talent to innovate and collaborate.
Prior to joining Digital River, Becky served as a Human Resources leader various technology and financial services organizations, including Hannover Re, one of the world’s largest reinsurance groups, NEC Technology and Veritas Software.
David Johnson
Vice President, Global Controller
David Johnson is Digital River’s Vice President, Global Controller, overseeing accounting, treasury and tax. David has over 25 years of broad accounting experience. He is a results-oriented leader with proven experience in aligning functions, effectively developing teams, and creating efficient processes to meet the strategy and goals of the organization.
Prior to Digital River, David served as Vice President Controller and Chief Accounting officer of United Natural Foods, preceded by progressive management roles at Supervalu, where he led his teams through significant corporate transactions. David also has extensive public accounting experience from his time as senior manager in the audit practice at KPMG in the United States and Australia.
Barry Kasoff
Chief Executive Officer
Barry Kasoff is the CEO and owner of Digital River. Barry has over 35 years of experience in strategic management, operations management, crisis management, finance, accounting and information systems. Mr. Kasoff has served on the boards of both public and private companies, including (in the public company sphere) as a Chairman of the Audit Committee.
Nate Kraft
Chief Commercial Officer
Nate Kraft is Digital River’s Chief Commercial Officer. His team is focused on deeply understanding current and future customer needs to drive a strategic, market-led, and highly analytical approach to everything Digital River does that touches our brand partners including customer engagement, sales, marketing, data analytics, AI/ML, and product development. Nate joined Digital River in 2023 as a consultant and previously led the product organization as SVP, Strategy and Products.
Prior to Digital River, Nate served as a VP/GM at Antylia Scientific where he led a business unit as well as the global software and hardware engineering teams. Before Antylia, he managed several global businesses within Honeywell’s Connected Home division and was part of the team that led its spin-out as a publicly traded company. Nate also has experience leading product teams within the Consumer Electronics space at Sony Electronics and Belkin. Nate earned his BA from Dartmouth and holds an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.
John Murray
General Counsel
John Murray has over 30 years of broad-ranging legal experience, first as an attorney practicing law in the Twin Cities with a focus on corporate law, then moving into several General Counsel roles over the last 20 years. John was General Counsel for four different technology companies over that time: Amphion Semiconductor, Lagan Technologies, KANA Software and Provation Software, all of which were either venture capital backed or private equity backed. All four companies made successful exits via acquisitions to strategic buyers during John’s tenures, the last of which was Fortive Corporation’s acquisition of Provation for over $1.4B in 2021.
John was also Senior Legal Counsel for Coca-Cola, where he helped lead international mergers and acquisitions from Coke’s Ireland office. As well as being admitted to the State Bars of Minnesota and New York, John has also been admitted to the equivalent legal professional bodies (the Law Society) in the Republic of Ireland and in Northern Ireland.
Lindsee Theis
Vice President, Product
Lindsee joined Digital River in 2020, where she assumed the role of overseeing the company’s global expansion product. In 2022, Lindsee was promoted to a larger role, managing Digital River’s Reporting and Insights product team and the Technical Writer team, while also contributing to several other strategic initiatives. Her exceptional performance led to her promotion to Vice President of Product Management in 2024. In this role, Lindsee will continue to develop the company’s product talent, influence its strategic direction, and drive growth by building products that are based on user and market feedback.
Lindsee brings over 15 years of experience in Product Management, with a focus on driving change across organizations. Before joining Digital River, Lindsee held leadership positions in Product Management in several technology and financial services organizations, including Harland Clarke, Lift Brands, and TCF Bank (now Huntington Bank).
Duane Thofson
Vice President, Business Operations
Duane Thofson leads operations for Digital River’s global ecommerce seller services. His functional and technical areas of responsibility include payments, fraud protection, indirect-tax, and ERP systems. Duane is also charged with executing strategies with product and engineering that drive efficiency, optimization, and sustainable growth.
Duane joined Digital River in 2003 and has held positions in accounting systems, information technology, and business operations. Prior to Digital River, he held several consulting capacities doing ERP implementations. Duane has over 30 years of experience in solution delivery.
Stefan Weber
Vice President of Engineering
Stefan Weber works with teams around the globe, leading the technology and engineering that enables our global payments, tax, compliance, and logistics capabilities. He is also the driving force behind our MyCommerce full stack solution for digital products and subscriptions.
Stefan joined Digital River in 2004 with the acquisition of element 5, the German E-commerce pioneer he helped start-up. He has held several leadership roles at Digital River over the years, managed the integration of various services and drove scalability, agility, operational excellence and efficiency. During this time, he also remained an active Software Architect, working with his teams on products, solutions, and research.
